"Had a wonderful time with such considerate service here. Our waitress was "CC". The sweetest young lady who was so helpful in figuring out the menu. We LOVED every part of our meal and the thoughtfulness of the staff. We've already decided that we'll be back. That double cooked pork was heavenly, complemented the fried rice perfectly. Dumplings were amazing. Shrimp balls were an explosion of flavor. The Jasmine green tea was calming and fragrant. So glad that we found this place."

"This is consistently delicious food for more adventurous American eaters, NY Times rates, and Fun! The food is often spicy but also deliciously so. Nothing I've eaten here had ever been bad. Period. Most food is Surprisingly delightful. The service is wonderful and fast. V they don't rush you out and the service is both helpful and not overwhelming. Our server Xiao Yu was particularly helpful and genuinely nice! Love this spot."

"Beautiful restaurant and dining experience. Dishes and presentation are top notch. The food itself shines - particularly liked the dumplings in chili sauce and the grilled beef ribs. This is Szechuan so expect some spice though notably the waiter made sure to ask how spicy we wanted each dish. Service was a little slow but it was also a very very crowded Friday night. Otherwise I couldn’t have asked for more in the heart of Flushing."

"The service was attentive and very thoughtful, and our server Xiaoyu truly stood out. He checked in at the right moments without interrupting our conversation, and everything arrived promptly even though the restaurant was busy. Before we ordered, he asked about our preferred spice level and made sure the dishes suited our taste. The Huiguorou was especially delicious—definitely a highlight. Overall a great dining experience. Reservations are recommended since the wait can be long."

"If you’re looking for authentic Sichuan food in Flushing, this place is absolutely worth a visit. We ordered several classic dishes and every one of them delivered real Sichuan flavors—bold, spicy, and deeply aromatic rather than just “hot.” The pork was especially impressive: tender texture, loaded with dried chilies and peppercorns, and incredibly fragrance. The cold dish was well-balanced, with a nice numbing kick and just the right amount of chili oil, duck head, not a dish for everyone but I just love it! Deep fried chicken was the best! So yummy! Must try! We also tried the Sichuan-style soup, which was rich, warming, and flavorful—perfect to balance out the spicier dishes. Portions are generous, ingredients taste fresh, and the spice level feels authentic. Service was efficient, waitress were very nice and polite! Overall, Mountain House stands out as one of the more authentic Sichuan restaurants in Flushing. If you enjoy real Sichuan flavours and traditional dishes, this is a spot you’ll want to come back to."

"The food was overall really good ,though I forgot to take photos of some of the dishes because we were too busy enjoying them. A special shoutout to server Xiao Yu,he was very helpful and friendly, which made our visit even more pleasant. The chili chicken was tasty and flavorful, but we felt the dry chili portion was a bit more than the chicken itself. Still, the dish was delicious and enjoyable."

"Come here if you want some really good Sichuan food! The food may be spicy for some, but the end of the meal we were very satisfied and the flavors almost melt in your mouth. The table comes with Chinese tea and a vegetable side dish. We ordered liangpi, pickled chicken feet, mapo tofu, and mala beef. Service and atmosphere was incredible!"
